What are the steps of dental consultation?

  1. The patient describes his/her complaints in details,  objective examination of the situation and also all the required examinations are being performed, including X-ray diagnosis (OPTG), computer tomography (CT) if necessary, diagnosis by intra-oral camera during which the patient can see such details on the monitor which were not visible to the eye.

If needed the patient might undergo several extra examinations,

  1. Professional photos are taken for the patient, during which he/she is looked at from different perspectives. Those pictures are used for diagnosis, coming up with treatment plan, actual treatment, additional diagnosis if needed, as well as for up-to-date evaluation.

  2. Additional consultation is organized with the narrow specialist. A consultation can be conducted by several specialists (implantologist, endodontist, orthodontist) at the same time.

After consultation an interclinical consilium is organized, where the situation is being thoroughly discussed.
